Diabetics, and weight conscious people now commonly use sugar substitutes; even those who do not have a problem are using them. It can be grown in several climates and is more adaptable than sugar cane. It could be a serious competitor if grown commercially. The extract is available in health stores. Plants can be found in nurseries. Leaves can be harvested and dried so that it can be used as a sugar substitute.

So enjoy your sweets without guilt when you make them with these sugar substitutes. Splendor is used widely in cooking and you really cannot tell the difference.
